Worship

The Church exists to praise God.  Every Sunday morning, we gather as the Body of Christ to offer our prayers, our singing, our gifts, and our attentiveness as we grow together in faith.  Whether you are a “cradle Christian” or have never set foot in a worship servicebefore, First United Methodist of Alabaster welcomes you to visit with us.  Here  you will find a spiritual connection and a warm family atmosphere that will enrich your week and your life.

Join us Sundays at 8:30 am for Contemporay Worship, and 11:00 am for Traditional Worship.  Contempory Worship is held at Restore and our Traditional Worship service is held in our sanctuary.  Both include singing, preaching, prayers, and the Apostle’s Creed, an historic affirmation of the Christian faith.  Open communion is celebrated the first Sunday of the month at both services.  We offer Sunday School for all ages at 9:45 am.
